Little though I want to sound like I might be defending the Blairites, I'm afraid an awful lot of the details in this article are not accurate at all, and one or two of them sound utterly bizarre (the EU handing weapons to asylum seekers wanting to force their way into Britain? ). I shan't bother listing all of them as they've been gone over on other boards, but it does bring down an article that was written in an engaging, if brisk, style. 4/10, alas.

(the EU handing weapons to asylum seekers wanting to force their way into Britain? ). I think by 'weapons' he meant litigation rather than AK47s. On the other hand, I agree that the majority of the article is ill-informed, and the second half sounds more like a xenophobic rant than an impartial report. The style is up to the standard we'd expect ot Critique's work, but the research seems to have gone astray somewhere and the obsession with immigration that dominates the end does the piece no favours. 2/10.
