I keep a daily eye on the stats for the new version of the site, to see how many people visit, and how they find us. HStorm's Syriana and JFK articles seem to be the most popular, especially from a search engine point of view. So it would be good if members were to write more articles on popular issues, especially those things that students will search on. The other thing that gets good hits is people clicking on links to our site. Linuxmatt kindly put the link on the main page of www.techcomedy.com, and that now we have a new member, the very lovely timelady. Awesome, I'm expecting great things from her. (No pressure!) I would urge people to put the link to the main page of the new site, ie thecritique.wordpress.com in their signature files on forums, and at the bottom of their comments on blog replies. I've done it today on a couple of blogs on the Huffington Post, and that's earned us a few visitors. If we all do the same, advertise but in a discreet and consistent manner, then we're going to get many more people viewing what we write and wanting to take part. That's what it's all about. So, in summary I think we should keep pumping out high quality content, and making sure people know of our existence. If anyone has any ideas, or can show examples of how they've gotten people to come visit, feel free to share. [edit - one more post to go til 4900, woo!]
