As you can see from the stats, we're getting a fair number of hits now on the new blog-style site. That being said, we're not really getting many more members to the forums. Therefore, I would like to hear people's opinions on whether or not we should enable comments across the whole blog. It seems to be far more common on other blogs I've read, and would make it far simpler for readers to give us feedback. Maybe after some interaction through the blog site, more people would be keen to join up here and become active members. My personal view is that we should let registered WP.com members post unmoderated, but reserve the right to later remove comments that are unacceptable. We would have to define "unacceptable" of course, but I think we could count trolling, racism, sexism etc in there. Shouldn't need too much policing, I wouldn't have thought. Thoughts?

I'd rather we kept actual feedback and discussion to the forum for the time being, otherwise there's a danger it'll get forgotten altogether.

That's a good point, HStorm. Maybe once we have more of a following. Speaking of which, I mean to write my first feature in the next week or two!

So noted. I'm also going to start putting a line at the end of my posts directing people to the forums (with a link)

Haha, one wonders. 10 hours a day commenting on blogs? The mind boggles.
