(I once started a similar thread on the forum for Knightmare.com and it surged to about 16 pages in under a week!)
At the Tory Party Conference, George Osborne mocked Gordon Brown as the writer of a book called Courage. "Next week, Charisma, by Alastair Darling..."
Such books, no doubt, will be thin. Can we think of some titles for more political books that would clearly be written by non-experts in the field? Here are a few suggestions...
Substance, by David Cameron. Tolerance, by Jack Straw. Vitality, by Sir Menzies Campbell. Coherence, by Boris Johnson. Anti-corruption, by Peter Mandelson (with foreword by Dick Cheney). Loyalty, by John Redwood. Geography, by George W. Bush. Sobriety, by Charles Kennedy. Reality, by Anne Widdecombe. Identity, by the staff at Smith Square. Truth, by Tony Blair. Attentiveness, by Donald Rumsfeld.
Any more?

I'm afraid I don't get the Ruth Kelly reference having watched Question Time (unless it's simply that she isn't very persuasive, which I already knew).

I was referring to her waffling round the question of whether there'd be an election next month. I know it was pretty obvious anyway, but her display on QT reminded me.
Fame, by Oona King. Sanity, by Mahmoud Ahmedinejad. Consistency, by Bill Clinton. Transparency, by Paul Wolfowitz. Machismo, by John Major. Diplomacy; Transcripts Of My European Summit Meetings, by Margaret Thatcher. Military Caution, by Tony Blair. Brevity, by John Prescott. Tasteful Headwear, by William Hague. Decisiveness, by Gordon Brown. Whiter-Than-White, by Jeffrey Archer & Keith Vaz.

Race-Relations, by John Howard. Haha, very apt. I certainly wouldn't want to be Sudanese over here at the moment, that's for sure!

I certainly wouldn't want to be Sudanese over here at the moment, that's for sure! Really? Maybe you should start a thread about it or something, as, typically, we don't get much Aussie news over here. Eloquence, by Dubya. Humility, by Robert Kilroy-Silk. Policies We Haven't Ripped Off From The Other Two Parties, by Labour Head Office.
